She is incarnate as You”-
Tripura Rahasya

Herbal steaming with organic herbs combined with energy therapies as necessary for caring the vital organs in pelvic floor region.

Helps better reproductive, menstrual & sexual health.

Perineal steaming has been around since ancient times, to take care of that important system of the body which undergoes a lot with menstruation, child-birth, sexual activity, hormonal and pelvic floor changes with age.

Even today, in many parts of India, women do steaming ritual with herb called ‘shepa’, after vaginal child birth.

Vagina is self-cleansing but this treatment helps relax, pacify some pelvic area organs, kindles dhatu agni and may offer relief in some women’s health related issues*.

What is involved?

Perineal or Vaginal steaming directs herb-infused steam onto the perineum, vaginal area. The process is pretty simple and your modesty is preserved during the whole time.

It starts with discussing your specific health concerns, followed by preparing necessary herbs for that condition.

Energy therapies are applied superficially on abdomen and pelvic area as necessary for the condition treated.

We only use organic herbs.

You can then just sit on a special stool, over a container of herbal-infused steam for about 30 minutes or time that is comfortable to you.

Ideally you can bring your own maxi skirt (as you prefer) to help isolate the steam and for preserving modesty. Towels are also provided.

During this time you can read, relax, meditate, listen to music or just close your eyes- a real ‘me’ time.

Due distance is ensured between steam and you, to dissipate intense heat and not to cause any burning sensation.

Conception or fertility support

Steaming regime options:

Considering day 1 as start of menstruation, for a 28 days cycle,

1} Ideally, 5-6 times between days 20-28, in the month prior to actually trying for conception. During this time, intercourse for conception is to be avoided. Also one needs to be certain that they are not pregnant.

2} Alternatively in the month trying for conception, 2-3 times between days 4 to 8. During this time, intercourse for conception is to be avoided.

One can choose suitable option in their own discretion.
The rationale is to avoid steaming when there is any chance of pregnancy.

Prior steaming helps to kindle dhatu agni i.e. warmth in reproductive organs. A combination of herbs which support pregnancy are also used in steaming as necessary.

Steaming is not advised between days (8-28 of the month) when one is actively trying to conceive i.e. having unprotected intercourse.

Steaming therapy is to support conception and does not guarantee conception.

For other women’s health issues

As recommended by practitioner during consult.

Steaming is not taken during menstruation.
